About Avenged Sevenfold
Avenged Sevenfold (sometimes abbreviated as A7X) are an American heavy metal band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1999. The band's members are lead vocalist M. Shadows, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Zacky Vengeance, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Synyster Gates, bass guitarist Johnny Christ, and drummer and percussionist Arin Ilejay.
They are known for their diverse rock sound and dramatic imagery in album covers and t-shirts.Avenged Sevenfold emerged with a metalcore sound on their debut Sounding the Seventh Trumpet but their style had evolved by their third album and first major label release, City of Evil into a hard rock/heavy metal sound. The band continued to explore new sounds with their self-titled release and enjoyed continued mainstream success before their drummer, James "The Rev" Sullivan, died in 2009. Despite his death, the band continued on with help of now-former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy and released and toured in support of their fifth album Nightmare in 2010 which debuted on the top spot of the Billboard 200, their first number one debut. Their latest record Hail to the King released in 2013 marks the album debut of new drummer Arin Ilejay.
To date, Avenged Sevenfold has released five studio albums, one live album/compilation/DVD, and eighteen singles and sold more than 8 million albums worldwide.

เรียนภาษา(อังกฤษ)นอกกรอบสุดสนุกที่“จันทร์หุ่นบำเพ็ญ”

“ยุคสมัยเปลี่ยน การสอนก็เปลี่ยนตามไปด้วย ครูต้องเปลี่ยนบทบาทจากผู้สอนมาเป็นผู้หากิจกรรม หรือสื่อมากระตุ้นเด็กให้สนุกกับการเรียนภาษามากขึ้น”

 คือสิ่งที่ อรณัส เบญจศิลารักษ์ หัวหน้ากลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ โรงเรียนจันทร์หุ่นบำเพ็ญ เชื่อว่าถึงเวลาแล้วที่ครูยุคใหม่ต้องปฏิรูปตัวเอง เพราะถ้าเป็นครูตามสูตรเดิมที่สอนอยู่แต่ในกรอบ หรือในตำรา เด็กนักเรียนจะค่อยๆ เบื่อครู และเบื่อภาษาอังกฤษในที่สุด ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องที่น่าเป็นห่วงมาก

 ด้วยเหตุนี้ กลุ่มสาระต้องจัดกิจกรรมนอกห้องเรียนขึ้นมาเสริม เพื่อช่วยพัฒนาทักษะทางภาษาให้เด็กนอกเหนือจากทฤษฎีในบทเรียน เช่น ค่ายอิงลิชแคมป์ หรืออิงลิชเดย์ ที่จะเปิดพื้นที่ให้เด็กทุกระดับชั้นได้ดึงศักยภาพทางภาษาของตัวเองออกมาใช้อย่างเต็มที่ ทั้งแสดงละครสั้น เล่นลิเกภาษาอังกฤษ หรือร้องเพลงสากล นับเป็นตัวช่วยเพิ่มสีสันให้เด็กสนุกกับภาษามากขึ้น หัวหน้ากลุ่มสาระภาษาต่างประเทศ เล่าว่า เมื่อก่อนเกมภาษาอังกฤษที่ใช้เล่นกับเด็กมีมาก ไม่ว่าจะเกมร้องเพลง Twenty Question หรือเกมอื่นๆ ซึ่งเราจะมีแทรกในแต่ละคาบเรียนสัปดาห์ละ 1-2  ครั้ง แต่ตอนนี้เวลาไม่พอ ครูจะต้องเรียนให้ครบตามตัวชี้วัดที่กำหนดอีก จึงต้องลดกิจกรรมในชั้นลงเหลือเดือนละครั้ง หรือเทอมละ 2 ครั้ง

 “การเรียนภาษานอกกรอบ ช่วยให้เด็กได้ฝึกใช้ภาษาจริงๆ ซึ่งแต่ละกิจกรรมนั้น จะเน้นแบบบูรณาการ โดยเอาวัฒนธรรมไทย และสิ่งแวดล้อมมาโยงเข้าไว้ด้วยกัน เพื่อให้เด็กได้พัฒนาภาษาอังกฤษไปพร้อมๆ กับอนุรักษ์ความเป็นไทย และตระหนักถึงสิ่งแวดล้อม เช่น ร้องเล่นลิเกภาษาอังกฤษ การประกวดมิสรีไซเคิล หรือการแสดงละครสั้นภาษาอังกฤษ เป็นต้น” ครูเบญจพร พาณิชย์ตระกูล ครูประจำกลุ่มสาระเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ โรงเรียนเดียวกันกล่าวเสริม

 ส่วนการเรียนในชั้นเรียน ครูอรณัส หัวหน้ากลุ่มสาระบอกว่า จะสอนและจัดกิจกรรมตามระดับความสามารถของเด็ก เช่น นักเรียนที่มีความรู้ความเข้าใจอยู่ในระดับกลางถึงดี กิจกรรมควรจะเป็นอย่างไร ส่วนเด็กที่อยู่ในระดับรองลงมากิจกรรมควรจะเป็นอย่างไร เพื่อที่ครูจะได้ลงไปช่วยเสริมเด็กอ่อนได้อย่างตรงจุด ทำให้เด็กเรียนไม่เก่งมีกำลังใจมากขึ้น

 “เราจะใช้หลักเด็กเก่งช่วยน้อย เด็กอ่อนช่วยมาก โดยจะมีการประเมินความสามารถของเด็กก่อนว่ากลุ่มไหนไปได้ ไปไม่ได้ เพื่อที่ครูจะได้ลงไปช่วยเด็กที่ไม่เก่งให้เรียนอย่างเข้าใจมากขึ้น แต่ถ้าหัวข้อไหนสอนรวมได้ก็จะสอน เช่น ไวยากรณ์ โครงสร้างประโยค ส่วนการฝึกพูด หรือฝึกอ่าน ตรงนี้จะแบ่งเป็นกลุ่มตามระดับความสามารถ เพื่อให้เด็กอ่อนค่อยๆ เรียนตามเด็กเก่งได้ทัน” ครูอรณัสอธิบาย

 รวมทั้งใช้สื่อที่หลากหลาย หนึ่งในนั้นคือ โปรแกรมอิงลิช ดิสคัฟเวอรี่เข้ามาช่วยเสริมมิติทางภาษาให้แก่เด็กได้เรียนรู้อย่างสนุกทั้งฟัง พูด อ่านผ่านบทเรียนที่ทันสมัย  ศรุตา  วารายานนท์ หรือมิว อายุ 14 ปี หนึ่งในสมาชิกแชมป์ละครสั้นภาษาอังกฤษระดับเขต บอกว่า การเรียนแบบเดิมที่นั่งเรียนตามตัวหนังสือ หรือตามเอกสารที่ครูแจก ทำให้เด็กเบื่อ และไม่เห็นภาพ แต่การที่โรงเรียนจัดกิจกรรมภาษานอกห้องเรียน และใช้สื่อที่ทันสมัย สามารถช่วยให้เด็กกับภาษาเข้ากันได้มากขึ้น

 “แรกๆ ยอมรับว่าเบื่อภาษาอังกฤษมาก มีแต่ท่อง แล้วก็ท่อง แต่พอครูเริ่มมีกิจกรรม หรือเกมให้เล่น ทำให้ภาษามันสนุกขึ้น อย่างอิงลิชแคมป์เป็นกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษที่จะมีการลงพื้นที่ และให้เราได้ใช้ภาษาในสถานการณ์จริง ซึ่งสนุก และได้ใช้ภาษามากกว่าการนั่งเรียนอยู่แต่ในห้องสี่เหลี่ยม”  มิวระบุ

 เช่นเดียวกับ ณัฐกาญจน์ ปาลกะวงศ์ หรือ ปุ๋มปิ๋ม อายุ 14 ปี โรงเรียนเดียวกัน บอกว่า สื่อเป็นตัวช่วยให้เด็กเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษได้เข้าใจขึ้น และนอกจากสื่อที่ครูใช้สอนแล้ว เราสามารถกลับไปใช้สื่อในโลกออนไลน์ฝึกภาษาง่ายๆ ได้ด้วยตัวเองที่บ้าน เช่น เรียนภาษาผ่านยูทูบ ดูหนัง หรือฟังเพลงสากล เธอฝากทิ้งท้ายว่า หากใช้สื่อในโลกออนไลน์อย่างถูกต้องมันจะให้ประโยชน์กับเราทุกคนอย่างมหาศาล
